How SalvageFlow Marketplace works

SalvageFlow is an inquiry-based marketplace for used auto parts. Parts are sold by independent salvage yards and dismantlers ("sellers"). For most sales, the seller handles the final sale, payment, and transfer of the part directly with the buyer. Before buying, please confirm fitment, condition, pickup or shipping, and the seller's terms with the seller.

Returns

No standard returns unless the seller states otherwise. Confirm fitment, condition, pickup or shipping, and the seller's return terms with the seller before you buy. If an item arrives not as described, raise it through the inquiry/dispute path and the seller will work with you.

Unless a seller states otherwise, returns are limited to parts that arrive defective or not as described. SalvageFlow does not offer universal returns or exchanges across the marketplace. Some sellers may offer their own broader return terms, which are shown on the listing or seller's storefront.

Return window

Under the marketplace default, there is no standard return window for change-of-mind returns. Defective or not-as-described claims should be raised promptly — ideally within a few days of receiving or inspecting the part. Where a seller offers a specific return window, that window is shown with their listing.

Who pays return shipping

For defective or not-as-described parts, return shipping arrangements are made with the seller as part of resolving the issue. For freight or oversized parts, return logistics are coordinated directly with the seller. The marketplace default does not promise free return shipping.

How to start a return or report a problem

Contact the seller through the inquiry option on the part's listing page and describe the issue. If you can't resolve it with the seller, you can raise a dispute through the same inquiry path and SalvageFlow will help facilitate.
